A gift from a friend who visited the Caribbean. 250ml bottle. It seems this is a re-naming of Dragon Stout Spitfire, with the same bottle, ABV, appearance & taste. It pours a very dark brown near black colour with a beige head. Aromas of dark fruits, dark chocolate, nuts & sweet roasted malt. Tastes of dark fruits, chocolate, burnt coffee, nutty caramel, tar, sweet malt & alcohol.

This review is from memory a few days back. Picked up a bottle at the local grocery store to have something different while staying at a resort in Antigua.
Poured into a resort cup. No proper glass to be had. Could only pour 1/2 a bottle at a time...
Dark brown with thin dark tan head. Foam disipated leaving some lace on the "glass".
Smells pretty good. Dark fruit, molasses, some flowery smells. Maybe not what I think of when I hear stout, but a good smell.
Taste is very very sweet. Once you get past that there are some good flavors. Dates, dark fruit jellies, a hint of bitter from the hops. The alcohol is pretty well masked, aside from being overly sweet it's pretty balanced.
Mouthfeel is what I expect for a stout. Full body, some fizz, a little alcohol burn. A nice change of pace from the rum drinks and "free" lager.
I rather liked it. But you really have to be ready for how sweet it is.
Of course when you are on a beach basking in the 85 degree heat in the middle of winter how can it be bad?

appearance- poured from bottle into glass, inky black and viscous, not a lot of head but a thin dark brown cap formed and slowly dissipated. some lacing
smell- port, man this smells like a port raisiny, leather , molasses
Taste- sweet bordering on cloying, sugarcane juice is kind of what i taste. and a mild alcohol sweetness.
Mouthfeel- thick and syrupy unlike the lesser dragon stout. alcohol warmth
overall- the most interesting beer I have had on the caymans, not my favorite but it is nice to have some variety. strong though. I could see myself having one of these during the little rain storms that blow in and down pour for about 5 minutes and then blow away. It may just help me deal with my flight anxiety for later in the day !

8.45 fl oz bottle.
S: Raw cocoa, some soft coffee notes, bready maltiness, very "european" stout smelling. Alcohol in the nose as it warms.
L: Very dark black, light tan head that dissipates quickly.
T: Sweet, milk chocolate like up front with some soft bready notes. Low bitterness with some light tea-hoppy notes. Quite sweet finish with some booze.
M: Medium high body, medium low carbonation. Alcohol prominent, but diminishes as it warms.
Interesting beer, quite sweet overall but the alcohol counters this fairly nicely. Decent export stout.
