Cracked this is August 2019 at the CAC Concert in the Park. Last one we ever went to :(
Has a honey like appearance color wise. Don't get it twisted thinking I'm talking about viscosity, just SRM. Thin off white 1/5" head on top. Brings a very wine like aroma of dark berries, dark fruit, moderate oak.
Taste goes in a slightly different direction, still has some of that lemon lime taste of sourness going for it, which is a slight juxtaposition, but its tasty, not clashing or off putting. Dark fruit lacks the bitterness it does with other styles. Citrus and wine like berries and grape must go at it for a complex result which I suspect has a good amount of brett pushing these different notes without the mouth feel chewiness that brett sometimes comes out perception wise as. Carbonation was good even if head retention wasn't.
Good but pricey, these were like $15 for a small bottle. Prefer to stop into barrelworks and just crush them on tap if possible, but every now and then, why not splurge, their barrel program is top notch.

Appearance: Pours a clear golden verging on orange; the one finger head leaves clumps of splashy lacing
Smell: Berries and currants with an oaky vinous tone; funky and lactic
Taste: Lactic, at the outset, with tart berry and currant tones developing; funky and vinous, through the middle, with a dry, oaky finish; hints of vanilla and lavender linger
Taste: Medium body with moderate to high carbonation
Overall: I love the Feral One series - so drinkable and so complex
