Pours a nice rich brown with an active off white head.
Nose is rich raisin and nuts (walnut and acorn) Nice light spice character, almost smokey
Taste has a wonderful toasted malt character with some charred wood/wood ash, dried fruit, chocolate, and black bread. Well put together.
Mouthfeel is wonderfully crisp and light. The full flavor is carried by an exquisitely delicate body. tops indeed
Overall this is a nice version of the style. Wonderful full flavored dark lager.
