The pilot brew for the next Leo vs. Ursus series. A black rye IPA, double dry-hopped with Mosaic. Poured on tap at the Propagator in Venice. Black under a 1" thick tan head which fades slowly and leaves semi-rings. Huge fruity/floral/tropical aromas. Flavor is roasty and nutty with mild rye spicy. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Finishes dry and bitter with roasty rye malts. This hybrid black IPA is interesting and it reminded me of a super-hopped Wookey Jack.
