Pours brassy gold in hue with a relatively fluffy white head. initial aroma was bursting with white grape and orange blossom, and some stone fruit across the tongue. mouthfeel is on point for a 4.9 % beer; thin as expected but not watery. there is only a residual whisper of caramel malt on the back end making this one an easy sessionable brew. the detractor to me is a presence, albeit minor, of a something metal tasting once the malt subsides. i would buy a sixer if this one was available in that format at the usual firestone price point.

Ok, hey now! This one pops like Hemingway fishing for a Marlin. Then like Jackie Robinson stealing home plate, this beer is a safe bet. And finally, like Gretzky on a wrap around, we have ourselves a winner. Waboom! Not a crazy, “waboom,” but good enough like any playa would want it.
Get it and get it good!

Nothing distinctive about this brew. Worst beer I have tried from Firestone.

It’s very clean, well balanced, not too bitter. I think it’s a sessions type IPA frankly. MUCH better than Firestone’s Easy Jack offering Yuk. Could drink a bunch on a hot days after golf.

Dark golden color, with a frothy head. Nice fresh orange citrus smell, and some green tea. Good flavor, nice hops. The pale ale is good but not great.

12 oz. bottle - Bottled on 07/12/2019. Part of their Lion's Share Hoppy 12 pack.
Pours as a clear golden ale with a minimal, creamy white head. Lacing is minimal.
The smell is a light, citrusy scent. The taste is an herbal spicing with distinct, honey notes. It has a light sweetness to it, and is somewhat bitter. The feel is pleasant, as a good pale ale should be. Not overwhelming to the taste buds.
Thoroughly enjoyable pale ale. Must have again.

12 oz. bottle - Bottled on 07/12/2019:
Part of a variety 12 pack:
Pours clear pale golden with a lasting creamy white head. Trailing lace sticks.
The smell is of citrus with a tea-leaf spiciness.
The taste is of floral/herbal spicing with general citrus bitterness. A honey-like, somewhat caramel-like sweetness balances it. It has a dry finish.
Very smooth, easy-to-drink, and refreshing. Plenty of hops, especially in the nose, but balanced enough to stay in APA (West Coast) style. Enjoyable!
