I got a few of these in a variety 12 pack. Decently fresh.

Look: Nice and clear straw yellow with good carbonation feeding the soft white head. The head has great retention.

Smell: The aroma is in fact rich with clementine and apricot, with undertones of honeysuckle and toasted biscuit in the delicate malt profile. Enticing and mild, somewhat wet in nature.

Taste/Feel: Follows the nose but with a rich juicy complexity to the lovely clementine and apricot flavor the El Dorado lends to this single hopped beer. There are flourishes of peach, an excellent exhibition of stone fruit characteristics. The malt bill balances things well with a clean and floral honeysuckle taste that compliments and enhances the clementine citrus component.

Overall: I'm glad I was able to try this, to my knowledge you can only get it in the mixer 12 pack they make. Very good single hop pale ale.

Appearance - Pours clear and golden yellow in color with a white, near two-finger width head. Good retention before dying down to a thin, consistent layer of suds. Fair lacing with a few patches, lines and small spotting.

Smell - Fair, hoppy aroma with hints of citrus and stonefruit.

Taste - Follows the nose. Soft hoppiness, but fruity and flavorful. Bright orange with a touch of apricot. Fair bready malt undertone allows the hops to shine. Finish lingers with sweet orange fruitiness.

Mouthfeel - Light-to-medium in body with fair carbonation. Slick, easy drinker before a crisp, slightly dry finish.

Overall - Really nice showcase of the El Dorado hop here. Really, well frickin' done. Light enough to drink easy, but flavorful enough to keep my attention.

12 oz. bottle - part of variety 12-pack - Bottled on 01/09/20:

Pours clear golden with a very thin white head that lasts. Spotted lacing sticks.

The smell is of general hop spicing - hints of clementines and apricots - as advertised.

The taste is of melon with hints of clementines. Spicy hop bite, but balanced enough to keep it APA style. Dry finish. Some apricot in the aftertaste.

Easy to drink and refreshing, this showcases the El Dorado hops well. A very interesting, pleasant brew.
