On-tap at the location in Dana Point, taken from notes in April. Contract brewed by Firestone Walker. On to the beer:
Golden blond color, with a creamy head as it settles in the glass. Clean floral hops in the nose, with a dose of honey graham crackers. Not surpringly, it is a ligher tasting ale. Honey-like sweetness takes control after a brief show of the hops. Hint of green vegetable. The sweetness rebounds and lingers on.
I'm not exactly a geek for the blonde ale, but this one I enjoyed. It's better than all those light lagers.
