Pours golden murky haze with white froth in Tulip at Firestone on draft. Notes of pineapple and mango freshen up this well balanced hazy DIPA. CHEERS to Firestone, went ahead and bought a $20/4 pack of tall cans to take home.

Update: pours beautiful golden murky from tall can with cool artwork design of hippie van and hitching Firestone hobo bear and lion. Pours with a white quick fading head to tall tulip glass. Just as good at home, really good local hazy DIPA at 8.5% ABV.

Appearance: Cloudy, opaque, straw-yellow color with a medium-sized, thick, foamy white head that slowly faded. A nice looking hazy IPA.

Smell: Mild tropical fruit aromas and mild citrus fruit aromas. A nice smelling beer but the nose is somewhat restrained.

Taste: Mild non-descript tropical fruit notes and faint citrus notes. The flavor profile is good but like the nose it comes off somewhat subdued with the hops coming off as a mix of tropical fruits but nothing really distinct. A mild hop bitterness dries up the beer resulting in a mildly dry finish when the fruit notes disappear.

Mouth-feel: On the light side of medium-bodied with a modest level of carbonation. The oats do their work here resulting in a smooth satisfying mouthfeel.

Overall: A good IPA that comes off smooth and refreshing but it's not a flavor bomb. Good hot weather beer.
