Served on tap at the Firestone Walker Tap Room in Paso Robles, California.
A: Pours a hazy golden nearly amber color with a one to two finger, foamy, white head, rim+ retention, and decent lacing.
S: Odd combination of barley, unripened nectarine and (stale) pineapple.
T: Semisweet. Flavors of caramel, barley, and the fruit flavors on the nose. Bitterness fairly moderate.
M: Medium with moderate effervescence.
O: Characterized as a Westphalian IPA, I cannot tell what this recipe was going for, but not a winner. Drinkable, just. Needs serious reworking.
