12 oz. bottle - part of a variety pack
Bottled on 05/21/21:
Pours a beautiful deep golden. Nice clarity. The head settles to a thin head. No much lacing, but some.
The aroma is of pear (and grape?) juice. A subtle hint of musty grapefruit comes through.
The taste is of pear and white grape juice. Some bitter grapefruit comes through. The malt character is firm enough to tie it together and balance it.A refreshing dryness lingers through the finish. Mild to no apparent alcohol presence in the taste.
An enjoyable IPA that, to me is more of a hop-fprward APA. Shows the Idaho Gem hops well.

Appearance - Pours clear and golden yellow in color with a white, finger width head. Excellent retention, holding a firm layer of suds across the surface. Superior lacing, with a thick wall covering half the glass, then breaks off into patches, lines and small spots.
Smell - Citrus and pineapple aroma, with underlying notes of bread and grass.
Taste - Moderate notes of orange, grapefruit and pineapple upfront. Bready malts. Finish adds a bit of citrus pith and a hint of grassy bitterness.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with fair, tingly carbonation. Slick, smooth drinker with an easy going finish.
Overall - Solid single hop brew. Nice flavor, and quite crushable. Found in the recent Firestone variety 12-pack, and I wouldn't say no to buying it again.
