Citrus Cyclone IPA delivers a head-spinning taste of all the citrus flavors under the sun, finished with a kiss of real tangerine. The base beer is co-fermented with fresh California tangerines. This base is blended back with a separate lot of dry-hopped Mind Haze, then finished off with a final dash of tangerine to elevate the citrusy top note. Along the way, the Mandarina hop adds a distinctive orange character. The result is a remarkably refreshing Mind Haze experience.

(review from February 2022) See previous reviews of original Mind Haze and take away a little fragrance and juiciness & add a slightly more orangey/tangeriney flavor.

Poured into a grip shaped goblet: color is straw gold, head is off white with fine bubbles, head dissipates to limited whispy top, no lacing.
Smell is muted, flat with just some citrus pith and light malt/wheat sweetness.
Taste is similar with flat/thin flavor - light citrus pith and some malt/wheat like notes.
Mouthfeel is flat, moderate sweetness, low bitterness for the style.
Overall a subbar brew - flat, lightly flavored, and lacking depth; rare mishit for FW.

Pours a very cloudy golden color with a small foamy head. Head retention is decent. Lacing is good. Has a pleasing sweet citrus aroma. Very light malty aroma as well. Sweet, juicy citrus on the taste with a hint of biscuity malts. Kind of dry and acidic. Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

Pours hazy lemon yellow with an orange tint. White cap has good retention and decent lacing. Aroma is a mix of fresh citrus fruits. Flavor follows the nose, bolder than the nose. Feel is smooth and medium bodied, nicely carbonated. Overall, a very nice NEIPA.

12 oz. can, canned 07/29/22. My second beer from this Mind Haze series from Firestone. "Citrus hops & real tangerine" per the can.
Poured to a clear stemless wine snifter.
Light golden orange body, small half finger of wispy white head that doesn't stay long. Minor spotty lacing but none that really sticks. Beer appears well carbonated, but the lack of head is distressing.
Light aromas of musty biscuit malt and tangerine zest. Tangerine is more of an essence sort of smell than anything authentic actually having gone into the beer.
Taste follows: light bready biscuit malt, soft clean hop presence, and some indistinct citrus essence. Typical hop flavors are pretty absent here: no grapefruit, pine, resin. No traditional hop bitterness, even. Tastes super light for being labeled an IPA. Typical orange / clementine essence flavor. Not terribly juicy or anything. I'll give it the 3.5 for flavor, but I definitely feel that is a generous rating.
The feel is smooth, crisp, clean. Light-bodied, super easy-drinking for the modest 6.2% abv. Not overtly hoppy or bitter. The easy-drinking ability of this beer is probably the best thing about it; super generic and not terribly exciting. Was definitely expecting more from Firestone.

12oz can.
L: Hazy orange with one finger of fluffy head.
S: Sweet and juicy tangerine, and orange oil.
T: Tangerine and navel orange - juice and zest.
F: Medium/light body, smooth mouthfeel.
O: The second of these fruited Mind Haze variants that I’ve tried. Neither have bettered the original. This one does what it says on the can and, if you like tangerine, this will be your thing. It’s a little one-dimensional for my personal taste.
