Sample at a tasting shared by MrBarleywine, thanks for the opportunity!
Dark brown with purple highlights and a purple tinted bubbly head that slowly recedes.
Light bready malt deep underneath with some jammy grape and lots of earthy funk to counter whats left of the sweetness. Light acid but seems well rounded.

Living as beer lovers in wine country give unique challenges and opportunities to Firestone Walker Brewing. Blurring the line between what's beer and what's ale is a marriage made in this brewery's heaven.
Pale straw and suspended in a foggy yeast haze, Terroir Cinq uses local grapes to fuel a musty-sweet, candied and tangy perfume with soft yeast spices, cider, white wine and a whole host of cellar-like conditions that all hover over a dainty white sheet of foam. Gentle sweetness greets the palate with a slight floral character and a hint of pez and honeysuckle.
Its wafer-thin malt profile provides a slight buffer from the brazen acidity to come. But first impresisons of fruit rely on the white grapes but also roll in natural yeast flavors of white grapefruit, lime, lemon, orange and pear- all seemingly branch dried and fully weathered. As flavors of oak allow for a toasty and nutty character, hints of cashew and leathery oak gives the session a tannic dryness and seem to amplify the beer's bracingly sharp sourness that finishes the session.
Light, crisp and highly refreshing, a peppery warmth comes with mulled white wine and a retro-olfactory finish of of damp burlap, saddle leather and attic woods in a quick finish of both funk and fauna.
