Inspired by the iconic West Coast style and brewed with new-age Cryo Hops®, Double Hopnosis (8.3% ABV) delivers massive flavors of tropical fruit and citrus with a hypnotic sense of balance.
Like Hopnosis, Double Hopnosis is also fermented with Firestone Walker’s house lager yeast in the Cold IPA style, and it employs proprietary hopping techniques to push tropical thiols to the forefront of the aromatic profile.

19.2 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 04/06/2023. Gusher can opening. Pours fairly hazy golden orange color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Dense soapy lacing around the glass. Aromas and flavors of big ripe red grapefruit, tangerine, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, berries, citrus rind, peppercorn, pine, light caramel, biscuit, herbal, floral, grass. Large sized pine/rind bitter finish. Medium carbonation and body, balanced bready malt and sticky/resinous hop mouthfeel. Lingering resin dryness with mild astringency. This has pretty strong undertones of stale hops and maillard maltiness, but overall it's still probably a winner when fresh. Liked the Mosaic Cryo, Citra, Chinook, Vic Secret, Columbus/CTZ, Simcoe hop profile. Still pretty juicy on the hops for how old it was.

De BeerRepublic. En copa Teku. Jugando a Rayman Legends. DIPA west coast muy equilibrada, con agradables notas herbáceas y feel suave y ligero, aunque nada aguado, impropio de su elevado abv y que hace que te se termine sorprendentemente rápido, dejando con ganas de mas (hasta que te levantas)

Got this in a tall-boy can.
Pours a hazy amber with a 2F head and light lacing.
Smells and tastes of sweet malt and citrus with a lightly bitter finish.
Medium body with light carbonation. Dry mouthfeel.
This is a good bang for-the- buck ,drinkable West Coast IPA

Hazy yellowish pour, big frothy head. Nose says citrus and stone fruit, taste is similar. I would have guessed this to a NEIPA, but lo and behold, a cold IPA, they're even worse.

A: Pours a clear medium golden honey in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and moderate apricot + peach + medium golden yellow + pale orange + burnt orange colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense creamy sudsy foamy off-white head that slowly reduces to a large patch of thick film covering approximately 55% of the surface of the beer surrounded by a large patch of slightly mottled very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate to significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of tropical/mango + citrus/grapefruit pith + citrus/orange + stone fruit/peach + pine resin hops over the top of moderate aromas of biscuit + toasted + caramel malts with moderate amounts of caramel sweetness.
T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of biscuit + toasted + caramel malts with moderate amounts of caramel sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of tropical/mango + citrus/grapefruit pith + citrus/orange + stone fruit/peach + pine resin hops which impart a moderate amount of aggressive lingering bitterness.
M: Slightly heavier than medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly crisp upfront with a moderate amount of oily slickness mid-body and a light amount of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a pleasantly crisp + slick + dry mouthfeel. Enjoyable with that classic West Coast DIPA aggressive lingering bitterness and tropical + pine hop flavors and aromas.

Hazy amber brew with abundant foam in the wine glass. Aroma of old oranges. Seems gunky enough to be the NEIPA style, but the label says not. The slightly spoiled citrus taste is off-putting. Then it's just citrus with a sweet note that does nothing to settle the stomach. The aftertaste is very bitter, with grapefruit peel in your face. This is so citrus peel tasting, it's hard to take, even ice cold. Overall, it's a hopped-up mess but something to sip on when sobriety loses it charm. From the 19.2 oz can purchased at the small liquor store. No date.

LOOK:
Cool can art, love the mystical, occult vibe with the eye and what not, black and gold can. It's a Firestone IPA, and they really are the brewery that got me into IPAs, in addition to Ballast Point (Sculpin), so I am loving this beer already.
In the glass it's copper gold with amazing 4 fingers of head that slowly dissipated to 3, 2, and then 1" dense, persistent foam. Amazing.
SMELL:
This beer ain't fresh. It's about 5 months old, from WinCo Foods in Temecula, CA. Still smells great! Typical hop profile of a good WCDIPA, not to say it's not great, but since it's a double it's always a bit harder for the hops to punch through on the nose, but I get distinct orangey, citrus with mango, peaches, and sweet undertones of sweetish, bready malts.
FLAVOR/TONGUE:
Damn! Not even fresh and it still smacks of a variety of hoppy flavors that follow the nose, mangos and peaches and stone fruits. A bit sweet, but it's because it's a double and it's almost 9% ABV which doesn't show much. Great flavors!
MOUTHFEEL:
Medium, but clean and balanced, it's double IPA (once again!) so it's a bit much, but in a good way. Hop oils bro, that's why it's danky, sticky, amazing....enjoy...
OVERALL:
Bomb ass IPA!
