Poured into a pint glass.

Appearance: Pours black with an off white-tan head that lingers and fades to a thin lacing over the top of the beer.

Aroma: Dark fruits, roasted notes, and chocolate.

Taste: Dark candied fruits, caramel, chocolate, roasted grains and figs.

Mouthfeel: Medium body with medium carbonation. I think the carbonation should have been turned down a bit and the body was not as creamy as you would expect to find in an oatmeal stout.

Overall: Honestly it reminded me more of a Belgian Strong Dark Ale then an oatmeal stout. Coming from Darkside that would make since, whereas, an oatmeal stout doesn't. Good beer, just not a good oatmeal stout.
