Fizzy and tangy with lots of bubbles rising in the Crooked Line tulip. Very attractive and persistent white foam. Color is orangey amber. Can't fault the fine-grained carbonation that fills the mouth pleasantly.
This is some strange stuff. It's not terribly sweet, but full of unusual flavors that make me think of sweet things. Cherry Coke with a little Nehi Orange. Papaya nectar with some fermenting pineapple. Lots of orange marmalade with a little of the bitterness. Some of the funky, fruity English-style hops.
In spite of the soda pop flavors this isn't totally awful. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Bottleworks in Seattle. No date on the label.
