This starts our looking attractive enough with the dark amber brown and fizzy head. Even plenty of carbonation in the mouth. The muddy smell is the tip-off: left-over garden chemicals from the damp part of the garage.
Weird sourish taste is hard to get past. Still some sweetness but the plasticky flavors fight with that dry, otherworldly bitterness. There is a little malt flavor, maybe some grain, but it's all going down the long bacterial chow line.
This is supposed to be a Rye brew, but I don't know what happened along the way. Terrible crap to be spit out. Sorry guys, it's all about the sanitation. From the 22 oz bottle bought at Bottleworks in Seattle.
