Pours a clear, dark brown color. 1/4 inch head of an off-tan color. Slight retention and slight lacing. Smells of peppers, rosemary, chocolate, sweet malt, hint of hop, floral, and roasted malt. Fits the style of a Belgian Dark Ale. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of rose petals (couldn't believe it, but true), roasted malt, slight sweet malt, peppers, and slight chocolate. Overall, weak appearance, but unusual and amazing aroma. The taste was complex, strange, and well-blended.
