Poured a pale but vivid yellow-gold into a tulip with two fingers of long-lasting fluffy white head. Strong aroma of lemon and slight barnyard funk.
Moderate carbonation and a light mouthfeel bordering on watery. Interesting flavor profile with lemon citrus and pepper up front followed grassy notes, pilsner malt, and a distinctly yeasty, earthy finish.
Another interesting brew from Epic Ales. The yeast is definitely the star of the show and lends some nice complexity.

Pours a bright yellow that is slightly hazy with a two finger, white head that recedes slowly and leaves thick lacing on the glass.
As I pour the aroma is yeasty, sticking my nose in the glass I pick up Pilsner malt, yeast, lemon and hints of peppery spice.
Taste is dry and fairly light but has a "dirty" element to it. It tastes like it was brewed with a saison yeast but the funky and spicy notes are turned up a bit and this makes it a little off balance. Starts with light malt and a dryness complemented by hop bitterness. This transitions into yeasty spice and funk with hints of lemon. Toward the finish is where this beer seems a bit dirty and this is not helped by the hop bitterness and dryness. I have a feeling this would do better paired with some summer foods... and it does help. Just had some crackers with cream cheese and spiced apricots. The beer goes well with the creamy, sweet and bright snack. It complements the fruit, lifts some of the thick cheese flavors and the lemon notes in the beer seem heightened a bit.
Mouthfeel is on the thin side with high carbonation.
Overall this beer hits some good notes but the roughness of it is a bit overdone for my liking. Overall I enjoyed drinking it but I wouldn't buy it again.

Thanks to blutt59 for sharing this bottle.
The beer pours a very light yellow color with a white head. The aroma is wheat with some cloves, banana, lemon and wheat. I also get some Belgian yeast character. The flavor is completely different with notes of peppers, yeast, bready malt and citrus fruit. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
