Poured into an 8 oz tulip at Epic Ales tasting room (this review is from my notes taken on 7/02/11).
A - Poured a cloudy honey/gold color with a very thin head. Head dissipated quickly, leaving barely any lace.
S - Moderate citrus-pine nose, with a spicy cucumber hint. A bit of cherry and an underpinning of grassy grain.
T - A nice melon flavor balanced with a grainy flavor...I assume that's the Basmati. This flows into tanginess, followed by a sweet round fruitiness, finishing with a tangy sour ale bite.
M - Smooth, but with very light carbonation.
D - Very refreshing, and given the mix of flavors quite tasty. A nice light summertime beer with character.

On tap served into an 8 oz. tulip at the Epic Ale's taproom. July 2nd, 2011.
Referred to as Epic's summer ale for 2011. Only available on tap at the taproom.
A: Pale yellow color. No head and very little lacing.
S: Cucumber aroma with a hint of citrus and pine.
T: Melon and lemon. Spicy notes from the Basmati rice are apparent.
M: Heavy carbonation.
O: Very unique but fantastic summer session beer.
