Pours a dark brown color with a minimal tan head that lasts quite a while. Aroma of chocolate and roasted malts. Taste is slightly sweet with a nutty flavour.

12oz bottle, poured into a Bell's tulip glass.
A - Pours a lovely deep brown color with a thin white head that recedes to a ring around the glass.
S - Roasted malt and chocolate notes with a light nuttiness.
T - Subtle and pleasant with notes of dark chocolate, cherry, caramel, and biscuit.
M - Thin-bodied with medium-low carbonation. Smooth finish, very easy to drink.
O - I got this as a gift for my birthday and it's quite enjoyable. I will definitely try to get more of this the next time I visit Michigan.

I had this on tap as a sampler at the brewery. Pours a dark brown color with a healthy white foam head. I didn’t get very much of an aroma, perhaps some malts and nut. Taste is malty and nutty. Has a light, watery mouthfeel. This reminds me of a Guinness, both in looks, feel, and taste, but adds a bit more than the Irish Stout. Overall this is decent, but I might need to try it as more than a sampler next time.
