On tap at the brewery. Served in a snifter.
Appearance - Jet black. Nice mocha head. Settles to nothing, with lots of little specks of probably sugar.
Smell - Loads of coconut. I don't get a lot of barrel out of it. Chocolatey.
Taste - Really coconuty. Hefty chocolate and some barrel. Then its gets acidic. Not enough to call it sour, but it's got something going on. Finishes with a bit more barrel.
Mouthfeel - That acidic character ruins it. I don't really want to finish this.
Overall - Why is it so acidic? Smells incredible. Does not taste right.
