Tried a tasting size of this one on-tap while on vacation in Gulfport. We stopped at Peg's for lunch. We were told that it was just brewed for the first time a couple days ago.
A - Dark black like a stout, with a thin ripple of mocha- colored head.
S - Incredibly roasty notes, but it is also exceedingly creamy. A bit of hops to round it all out.
T - Great stuff, a smooth & creamy malt profile that finishes with the perfect amount of hop bitterness.
M - Incredibly silky & smooth, with absolutely no detectable alcohol.
O - This was described by the bartender as a black IPA, & it was without a doubt the most approachable & successful at the style that I have ever tried. An incredible offering from Peg's. Don't hesitate to try this one if you get the chance!
