22 oz. Bomber
Poured into a Trillium glass a pretty nice dark brown color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy/foamy one-finger plus off-white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, yeasty, with a nice dark fruit complex (grapes, figs, raisins, dates, cherries), nice tartness, sour, nice little funkyness. The taste is pretty nice, malty, yeasty, with a nice dark fruit complex (grapes, figs, raisins, dates, cherries), pretty nice funk, sour/tart. Medium body, ABV is hidden very well, with a nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, this one surprised me, pretty tasty.

Bought a bottle at the Beer Shop in East Longmeadow, MA. The beer has a black appearance with a light brown-colored head that stays with the beer throughout the evening. Some thick lacing on the sides. Aromas are a little faint, but apparent cherry flavors are sensed. The taste to this beer is nice and citrus-like with a very sour aftertaste. Nice, crisp carbonation overall. I really liked the carbonation to this beer the most, with other factors like appearance and taste coming in a close second.

Pours a brown but more mahogany when held to the light. Light tan head is two fingers and fades away not much lace on this one.
Aroma is nice a wild ale with some darkness to it, light peat, toffee even lighter coffee and coco powder notes. All of that on a normal fruity even though its a little darker then most wild ales, some tartness and light spice round things out. Like the nose hope the taste can keep up.
Taste is nice toffee notes mingled with dark cherries popping out among other fruity notes and a dry tartness. Hints of coco powder and spice under the funky fruity tartness. Pretty good wild ale like that its go little darkness going on that is a nice change.
Mouthfeel is lighter side of medium with fairly peppy carbonation that seems to be to the style.
Overall a nice little brew again the darker notes make this one a little more enjoyable for me or at least a little different.

Aroma is fruit/sour, spices and a hint of toffee. The flavor is unique tropical fruit, mild wood, malts, spices, a hint of sweetness and a tart/dryish/sour finish.

Finger worth of light tan foam, uneven surface without much retention, no density, splotchy lacing at best with moderate stickiness. Clear, the liquid has a mahogany red color, both shiny and dark, the bubbles are quite large but few and tend to aggressively dart to the surface, attractive enough. High toned nose of rubbing alcohol, pressed flowers, carob, hay, tree bark and old pulped lemons, the matted grasses tend to cover up any pit fruit to apple scents, finishes with coffee grounds and dead yeast, odd bedfellows all around. Light to medium-bodied, tart and seemingly acidic, throws its shoulder into you, then more softening carob, creamed coffee and bread, peppery with iron flecks, comes off as randomly organized but to be fair that’s why they call it a “wild ale.” Peach, apple, cherry fruit take a stab at filling it out, not much citrus. The carbonation is just about where it needs to be. Mineral water to wet stone inflected finish, lacking in flavor and persistence. Certainly there is a lot going on but makes you think do we sometimes label something as complex when it really lacks coordination?
