Multigrain NEIPA 8% (barley, spelt, rye, wheat) Big, round, earthy, spicy nose & palate. Med bitterness, but really earthy, spicy, grainy & slightly herbal finish. Very full flavored. Nice - Almost a meal
Big aromatic, earthy, grainy, spicy, pungent nose.
Big palate. Round, earthy. Grainy, slightly grippy wheat.
Earthy aromas & flavors meld with round, pungent, sappy hop bitterness on back palate giving backbone.
Interesting & impressive.
Grain bill: malt, spelt, rye, wheat. In the outside orbit of NEIPA, but nice stuff.

Pours an opaque orange that turns to lightly murky when the last couple ounces are poured into the glass. Head is an off-white, egg-nog color, and retains beautifully well. Aroma is papaya, tangerine, and zesty orange for sweetness. The real story is the bold bread malt showing through and out-classing the hops in terms of power and prowess. Flavor profile is zesty orange, tangerine, papaya, lemon zest and lemon grass, with notable bready malts that make their presence known. Malts are forceful enough they restore balance within the hops v. malts dynamic. Mouth feel is velvety and soft, with a medium thickness. Overall, splendid hop notes, but the real story for this Northeast IPA is the bready malts. A bit of an oddity for the NE IPA market.
