I got a late start on NBS (Week 774) & I did not finish up my DelMarVa (+ DC) adventure as planned. 8=( Further, I promised that NBS (Week 775) would be dedicated to the wonderful beers sent to me by @jkblr who seems to have a real handle on my drinking habits. CANsparency is key in these things! As a result, I am going to CANcentrate over the next few days on eradicating everything that would have CANbined to form the finale of the DelMarVa (+ DC) adventure. Sit down, strap in & hang on. It's gonna be a wild ride!
From the CAN: "Double India Pale Ale Double Dry-hopped Brewed with Mosaic and Galaxy".
This is going to be a Pablo Ross special in that I am "having just the one" or in his case, "... just the one more" as he liked to say. I beCAN with a Crack! of the vent, followed by a slow, gentle C-Line Glug into the awaiting glass. It foamed up beautifully to form two-plus fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, butterscotch-colored head with excellent retention. Color was a slightly-hazy Yellow-Gold (SRM = 4 - 5). Nose smelled of the gamut of tropical fruits! Mango, papaya, guava, passionfruit, all present and acCANted for. Mmm. Mouthfeel was medium, a little on the thin side for the AIIPA style. The taste was definitely fruity, but not overly sweet, nor was it terribly bitter, either. This struck a really nice balance while CANveying its tropical hops. Also, it was dangerously easy-drinking for an 8% ABV beer, which might be something to bear in mind. Me? I'm off to the shower, run some errands & then a doctor's appointment so no real CANcerns there. Finish was smooth & dry, leaving me in a blissful state of CANtemplation as I licked my lips & reminisced about tropical fruits. YMMV.

Poured from a tallboy can into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Hazed opaque citrus juice pour. Thick fluffy white head.. lasts forever with great lacing.
S: Tropical fruit and citrus. Juicy.
T.F: Just like it smells. Sweet tropical fruit up front... pineapple and mango with a little bitter grapefruit and tangerine. A nice NEIPA fruit medley... medium bodied... sticky and oily on the tongue.
O: An outstanding NEIPA... and the best beer I've had from Stillwater to date. Really, really good brew.

Bought a can at the Beer Shop in East Longmeadow, MA. The beer has a dark orange appearance with a big white head. Aromas are a little faint with some orange citrus. The beer is fruity with some orange citrus and a sharp mango taste. Medium body. Overall, the appearance is great.

Really nice juicy pineapple, grapefruit, pear flavors, mild carbonation makes this feel so juicy and drinkable at 8%. Great beer.
