Collaboration with Evil Twin Brewing. Canned on 5/4/20. 16oz can poured into a tulip. Pours black with a dark khaki head that fades leaving nice retention and lacing. The aromas have a nice amount of chocolate with lots of malts. Hints of dark fruit as well. The flavors are rich and sticky. More chocolate. The molasses definitely comes through. Some raisins in the mix. The sea salt is subtle. I can see beef jerky being part of the equation, but it doesn't seem to shine or dominate. Low bitterness. It's on the sweeter side, but it's not cloyingly sweet or over the top. Strong malt backbone. Finishes warm, but it's not hot. Mouthfeel is full-bodied with low carbonation. It's fluffy, creamy, sticky and smooth. This beer drinks big so I probably won't say that it's dangerously drinkable.
This is a really nice Imperial Stout. It's big, bold and rich. Don't be afraid of the beef jerky because it doesn't turn the beer into tasting like a gimmick. It's simply a really good Imperial Stout. The craftsmanship is on point. Well done. Very nice collaboration. I really like it and it's probably even better than my "numerical score" might indicate.

Excited try this knowing it's made with beef jerky into a pint glass. 1/4 inch of foam that settles to nothing beer itself is a pitch black darkness looks good. Smell is meaty and Smokey with a good chartogne and some mild chocolate notes. Taste is very balanced you get your beef notes some good smoke liquid smoke flavor infectious mild roasting and mildly sweet with some chocolate notes. Body is excellent despite the 12% is very smooth medium to heavy body and slick. Overall well worth trying picked it up strictly for the novelty and it made for a great imperial Stout

I paired this with Surf, of course, and the results are legendary - these should be drank together.
It's black and beautiful. A little head sticks around for a long time. The aroma mixes the meat with nice, somewhat hoppy, malts. Outstanding. The taste works well too. Not too sweet. Smokey. Excellent.
Highly recommended.
