Cloudy yellowish brew with large foam-up in the IPA glass. Mouthfeel is quite lush and sudsy. They call this a "Double dry-hopped international Pale Ale." A New England IPA, in other words, especially at 7.6 percent. At least it is more drinkable than the average NE brew, but it does have that family resemblance of sharp acidity growing as you sip, and the gunky aftertaste in the back of the throat.
Aroma of caned peaches, old orange rinds, and a whif of cider vinegar. Citrus flavors with that spoiled fruit taste crashing the party. Drinkable but not likeable. To be fair, this one has also been in the can longer than I would like. From the 16 oz can purchased on the northwest coast.

always stoked to see new beers from these guys, and i love that more and more are coming out this way, but the prices are creeping up into the absurd range, especially considering this was canned in november, which i saw after i had purchased it, come on really?! i can tell it was good, maybe not even samey in a samey style, with a cool mix of hops and some definite yeast character, almost saison-esque to me now, and it looks like it too, like its been working in the can more months than intended, almost gushing white head, hard to control on the pour, i would think some can conditioning has occurred here. it smells like southern hemisphere hops, a hint of oxidation and green onion now too though, but still green grape and honeydew melon and pineapple, crisp red apple too, a little dank sativa, really clean citrus, fresca soda from my youth, quite good im sorry its fading. i would also guess something more than barley in the mash, likely some raw wheat or oats, lots of fluffy body here and vessels for the hops to cling to. its well made beer, but it would have been excellent fresh. now it just tastes like disappointment, and overpriced disappointment at that. i continue to support these guys more than any of the posers riding their coattails, but i need either fairer prices or better freshness control...
