collaboration with onmipollo, clever recipe but not as cleaned up and dialed as i am used to from these guys, despite the flavor being pretty great. tangerine, chardonnay grapes, lactose and vanilla. i think i could do without the latter two, but it all comes together nicely. fortunately the fruit drives it, my wife called tangerine right away, its juicy and distinctly tangerine, natural as can be, and so are the grapes, mimosa vibes. its hazy and increasingly thick and drab as we move to the bottom of the can, fizzy at first but then flat looking and kind of thick, stays carbonated in the mouthfeel, but this isnt as delicate overall as it should be, needs some cleaning up texturally i reckon, almost looks like orange juice after it settles. the vanilla comes out more as it warms, its natural too, maybe a little more of it than i need, but cool with the fruit, especially the chardonnay. its locked into like a candied sweetness thing with the lactose, which seems unnecessary in here, like its already a little sweet and i dont need it to be creamy. it kind of heavies this up too, like as much as i like the way it tastes, i could maybe drink a second but a fourth would be out of the question. its good enough to want a lot of, but heavy and sweet enough to not really work in that context. its wheaty feeling but i dont taste a lot of grain in it. more carbonation would be better, add to the mimosa feels, but i liked this quite a bit despite its misses. i tend to love everything these guys do. the tangerine and the chardonnay are awesome together, its not too sour at all, and its great with shrimp cocktail and lousy christmas movies! would have liked this better at working class prices, despite the name, would be more fun if it were accessible to everyone...

16oz can. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with almost no head. It left no lacing. It smelled of white wine grapes, tart lemon, green apple and some caramel. Fairly tart with vanilla, oak and a white wine-like taste. It was light to medium-bodied.
