Poured from 12oz can into my BeerAdvocate teku. There's a stamp on the can but I can't identify it as a date.
Appearance: moderately hazy orange hue with just a dash of pink. Kind of a salmonberry thing going on; head is a finger of frothy ivory foam that subsides pretty quickly.
Smell: quite sour with a bit of astringent wood character and a nice tropical fruitiness. I don't know if I would pick out the specific fruits listed on the label, but it's tart, and I find that it's growing on me.
Taste: flavor is quite tart indeed, with a bit of funky earthiness and kind of a wild salmonberry flavor, as in the color. Maybe that's just psychology working on me? Definitely a lot tarter and less sweet than, say, the juice of the fruits listed on the can. That said, it's a nice refreshing beer to sip -- but that's exactly it: sip.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: a vibrant and interesting sour, although at least for me, too sour to, say, make a session of. I'm enjoying this one glass, though!
