Thanks to John11486 for sharing this one at jmgrub's birthday tasting.
Pours a murky crimson-brown with a foamy khaki head that settles to an oily film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of dark malt, cocoa, and dark fruits. Taste is much the same with cocoa and mild bourbon flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer but the barrel aged presence is pretty mild all around.

750 mL bottle poured into a tulip
A- Black with a three finger mocha head.
S- Dark fruits, chocolate, grapes, oak, roasted malts, some bourbon.
T- Chocolate, dark fruits, grapes, oak, roasted malts, some vanilla, getting some bourbon in the finish.
M- Light to medium body, could be thicker.
O- Overall is a good beer, I kind of wish I had picked up the red wine version.
