Inside this bottle you will find the fruits of a collaboration between Rivertown Brewing Co, The Rookwood, and Smooth Ambler Spirits. A delicious blend of Wild Ale, spices, and citrus, all aged in a Gin barrel, we hope this fine beverage will call to mind the classic Gin cocktail that inspired it.

Pours clear, light yellow in color with 1/4 inch head and moderate carbonation. Taste is sour mix, fruit, apples, lemon, and some lime. Tasty and complex sour ale. i will get this one again.

Smells crazy sour. Pours with a surprisingly full head. Odd taste at first (due to the gin barrel aging). However, once acclimated to the grainy, gin taste, it is a very solid beer

650ml bottle poured into a Teku glass
A: Slightly hazy orange, no head to speak of
S: Lemon, sour grape, a bit of earth/spice
T: Sour grape, gooseberry, lemon, lemongrass and spice
M: Light-bodied with a nice acidity
O: I've had more complex sour ales (from Russian River), but stylistically this hits the nail on the head and is mouthwatering/refreshing with its acidity

Poured out of a bomber into one of my tulip glasses, this beer pours a mainly hazy/cloudy light to medium golden color with a bit of a copper hue. has a head that is 1/4 inch thick when first poured that settles pretty quickly to a medium sized ring lining the inside of the glass along with some little spots of surface foam. Not much lacing here. Aromas consist of a crisp, zesty, sharp citrus, that gives way to a nice oak hint followed by some green apple sourness and a bit of musty, yeasty funk. The gin flavor is certainly present upfront with the aforementioned sharp citrus zest notes that are on the sour side as far as citrus flavor is concerned. Followed by a nice crisp tart green apple sour note that gives way to a nice hint of oak and a good yeasty barnyard funk must. The flavors sure balance and gel quite nicely as the beer warms a bit. Has a clean, dry finish. Also has a slightly crisp, mainly smooth, medium bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Easy to drink in a good way. A very interesting take on this style.
