A total foam bomb! Cracked this open after being in fridge and it almost exploded with white foam volcano. Only half survived the eruption. This can't be normal? How do I grade the look? What's left pours a impressive three quarter glass white head that lasts leaving a center mountain and thick lacing. Smell is nice, taste is some what light with bitter hop aftertaste. Has a slight fruity taste to it. I like this new Belma hop variety they use. Very enjoyable, just wish it did not foam out on me

Reviewed from notes. Poured from 12 oz. bottle into a Cigar City pint glass.
A: Hazy light gold, with a finger's worth of white fluffy head and medium visible carbonation.
S: Pilsner malts with a moderate sulfur character, and mild fruity hops (or yeast esters? Can't tell).
T: Pilsner malt, light grassy and herbal hops, and light fruity yeast esters. Much less sulfur to the malt bill than the nose suggested. Finishes clean with just a touch of hop bitterness lingering.
M: Light bubbly body, and low alcohol presence. This is borderline over-carbonated.
O: Honestly, I went in with fairly low expectations, but in fairness they were exceeded. Drinkable, more complex than I expected, and it certainly tastes better than it smells. Still, nothing to go out of your way for - tick if desired and move on.

12 ounce bottle. Served in a Sam Adams perfect pint glass, the beer pours a hazy gold color with about an inch and a half frothy white head. Head retention is excellent, and there's a lot of lacing. The brew smells like light citrusy/floral hops, and some bready/grainy malt. It tastes like citrusy (tropical fruit, melon, grapefruit) hops, bready/grainy malt, apple, and a bit of grassiness. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's a bit coating and also nice and smooth. I think it's a good blonde ale, I might have to pick up more soon. $1.99 a single bottle.
