Smooth. Succulent. Satisfying. Soured. Nice Melons was crafted to bring pleasure to the mouths of the drinkers looking for that puckering pop on a sultry day. Pouring brilliant citrine with an unmistakable candied watermelon nose, this Berliner Style blends sweet and tart into one unmistakeable mouthful. And, just like a set of nice melons, will make your mouth water.

Although this listing has this beer at 3.8%, my 6-pack is 5.5%.
Not bad. Its tart but not too sour and has a definite watermelon flavor to it but its more of a candy watermelon, as opposed to actual watermelon. That said, it's still a super drinkable sour beer and I'll have no problem killing the other 5 cans.

Reviewed from notes. Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a Cigar City goblet.
A: Slightly hazy light gold, lots of carbonation bubbles on the initial blush but diminishes to small bubbles clinging to the sides of the glass. No real head forms – just a very small amount of amorphous foam.
S: Lightly tart, watermelon Jolly Ranchers, very light cracker malt. A mild lactic acid and some hints of citrus and apple fruitiness.
T: More jolly ranchers up front, with a lemon citric and lactic tartness. Very light crisp malt. In the middle and continuing through the swallow, a more natural watermelon fruitiness shows up along with continued dry tartness. Some pear or apple juice as well.
M: Very light body but not quite watery – though the fairly low carbonation sensation doesn’t help this impression. No alcohol presence to speak of.
O: Not particularly objectionable, but the flavors aren’t quite right (artificial) and it’s certainly not complex. If they’d decided to put in in cans, I’d take it to the beach or golfing occasionally. But nothing I’d seek out actively.

Kinda light medium golden color. This beer is not my cup of tea. Taste too sugary and too sour. Not a bad flavor but very Very hard to drink. Almost had to pour down the drain

I get a nice, "watermelon jolly rancher" type of smell as soon as I take a whiff. There isn't any sweetness to match, but the sourness is refreshing and quite noticeable without being unpleasant. The Jolly Rancher watermelon fades after the sip, but there's a melony sourness that lingers. My bottle gave a good amount of foam that sat down very quickly. I'll buy myself another six-pack after I finish this one.
