I got this off the single shelf at the Kroger near the Metro South Sports in Dayton, Ohio. It poured a hazy amber with no head and no lace. The scent had hints of marmalade sweetness. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweetness at front follow by a mild bitterness that cleaned the pallet. The mouthfeel is medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it's a decent beer.

I had this on draught at Great American Ballpark in Cicinnati while attending a Reds game. 22 oz. pour. It pours a hazy gold with orange hues with a thin, milk-white head and lacing that coated the plastic cup for the entire pour. The smell was deceptively malty with grapefruit, lemon peel, resinous pine, and floral hops. Despite the malty nose, this is a very hoppy beer. The initial malt and grapefruit is quickly overwhelmed by a bitter, biting blend of Citra, Galaxy, and Columbus hops that leaves a decidedly bitter after taste. I was surprised that it's only 67 IBU. This ale is lite and crisp with pleasant carbonation and its 6.5% ABV seems just right. Overall, I really enjoyed this American IPA; it's a nice rendition of the West Coast style and it won't disappoint hop lovers.
