Brouwerij 3 Fonteinen “Speling van het Lot” (Twist of Fate) is a series of small batch experimental brews, barrel maturations, fruit macerations and/or blends. This 9th version features a range of strawberry maceration iterations aiming at balancing the intense fruitiness of strawberries with the subtleties of traditional lambic while minimising the unpleasant phenolic characteristics of the small pits. This one is a blend of three different strawberry macerations on oak barels. Another part of each of the individual strawberry lambics is used as a base for secondary maceration with sour cherries. The organic strawberries originate from Ferme Framboos. The final fruit intensity is a 678 grams of strawberries per liter of finished strawberry lambic. 100% 3 Fonteinen lambic.
