Well its that time of the week again, time for the almighty bArF to crank out the first review ever for a beer at this Next Glass owned database, respect the Next Glass, buy the pudding pops etc., . . .Twist of fate, what is up Hardy Boyz.
This one pours a light amber color, are these like those pluot plums or whatnot because its a lighter color than the usual red/purple association I make with plums. They're like apricot colored plums if you will. Cracks a light smallish white head 1/4" at its height, recedes quickly. Aroma isn't what I associate with plums, more of those apricot/peach/nectarine stone fruit vibes, might be the power of color suggestibility I dunno.
The taste is lovely, doesn't go extreme, has a respectable amount of fruit per liter while not going into domineering territory. Lighter sourness, nice drying plum skin feel to the mouthfeel, very chill acidity for something that vibes like stone fruit. Light french oak tickler. Once again I'm blowing up my average review score and in a bittersweet way, lightly bummed I like something so expensive and limited to just over 600 bottles. But it was good and fun. Not sure why they made the abv so strong, but it was drinking tamer than the number.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
