Orange like color pours from one of the last bottles at the greatest tasting ever. Makes a 1/4" white head that clings to the side while a hole opens in the middle rather quickly. One of the more impressive appearance fruited lambics.
The aroma hits that across the pond plum note. 745 grams per liter is a big number. Some minerality to the nose alongside what most describe as funkiness of a wet buggy barrel. They call these stew plums, difficult to imagine a stew with plums but ok.
The taste is similar to the other plum lambics they have. You know the deal, elevated abv noticeable in the mouthfeel. It feels amplified by the high acidity. Plenty sour but not excessively. Its a fun drink but I don't understand why they went with some of these plum varieties at 7-8+ % abv, bring it back to 6 or below please. Makes you wonder if their main consumer base is America and the need for the extreme so to speak. I did like the beer, but also glad I didn't buy like a 750 of something pricey like this when they have others I'd rather have.

Reddish mostly clear pour with white ring and bubble islands. The taste has big funk with light plum and floral notes. So for the nose take that but let the funk free untethered to the light plum by the end, expansive with some vinous barrel. Feel is light and funky, leans dry, but kind of wispy by the end of the sip.
