Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle.

The beer pours a yellow color with a white head. The aroma is wheat with some yeast. I don't get too much spice or fruit in the aroma, which is disappointing.

The flavor is also a little bit lacking. I get a lot of wheat, but only a little bit of pepper and coriander and even less fruit. I get a little bit of orange peel, but it is very faint.

Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

pours golden yellow with 25% white head into a chalice, smells mildly hoppy, some undertones of sweetness and malt.

taste is initially sweet, slightly floral, distinct wheat undertone. Malty otherwise and not much complexity, in all a decent wheat-based beer taste. Sweetness carries into the aftertaste.

pleasant and unexceptional wit beer, worth trying if you can find it.

Pours in ok, average head but not what you expect from a white. Also carbonation could be higher for a white. Orangebronze colour with a clouwd in it so altougether a reasonable appearance. Nose is very malty with some apricot/orange fruit and some spice. Taste is full malty and litle sour. Hardly any bitterness and more a honey like aftertaste then of a beer. Not bad though.

Cork Date 2/03/04, Picked up in 2001 in Beersel, Sampled March 2004
Pours a clear deep cold color. It is very fizzy, and the carbonation produces a thick white head that is made up of relatively large bubbles. The smell is funky, musty, spicy, with notes of pear, apple, and dust. The beer has been lightly oxidized over time, with a bit of sherry in the finish. Quite dry which leads to this beer being light bodied. A spritzy zing in this beer that pairs well with notes of lemon and apple. Finishes with a bit of astringency and some alcohol. There is some light grain character here as well. This is pretty good, a straight forward golden Belgian ale with lots of yeast complexity.

Orange, turbid appearance, compact foam, thin.
The smell is essentially wheat, and no more. But quite pleasant.
Even in the taste the weath is dominant. It is quite similar to a weizen beer, with fresh cereal taste, but obviously without the banana characteristic of a weizen yeast.
Bread, lightly biscuit. Bitter quite pronunciated, but well balanced. Some citric.
Maybe a little too carbonated.
Soft and pleasant bitter in the aftertaste.
Body quite good, malty.

Fluffy headm pale gold colur, ever so slightly hazy. Tasted old to me. Some vanilla, citrus, mild tartness, with a stickyness which i didn't like, mild and stale, with some late bitterness, dissapointing Belgian Wit, a bit stale. (bottled- chelmsfordBF 03')
