The team at 3F in Lot were just fantastically welcoming hosts and kept bringing around bottles to share with us, some of which I'd never heard of, especially including this one. Out of a bottle that will likely never see release due to a labeling mishap, this pours a fairly hazy light tannish-brown with a short but dense off-white head that retains well.
The geuze exhibits a slightly smoky hickory thread unlike any 3F I've ever had. After acclimating to what almost translates as a Schlenkerla lambic, I also detected a touch of spiced pear.
