Viking was described to us a wheat beer with cranberry added to it. The appearance had the same frothy white head as the other wheat offered, but was far darker in body, and similar to apple cider in colour. Cranberry is detectable in the aroma along with fresh grain. The flavour is very refreshing, having a slight sweetness and slight tartness from the cranberry, and feeling a little heavier than the trouble-fete. Medium body and carbonation makes for an easy drinking beer.
