A Gose, or an IPA? It says Gose first so that's how I'll review it...
Bright straw gold and nearly perfectly clear with a thin white head and next to none in the lace department.
All IPA on the nose. Old school East coast with a malty sweet graininess and a smidge of spice.
Flavor follows nearly ommiting the gose inspiration. Earthy, dusty, slightly spicy and malty with the smallest drop of salt imaginable.
Feel is clean but a little hefty. Mild carbonation and no where near spritzy like that of those hailing from Leipzig. Despite this, a very easy to drink beer.
All in all, this should have been called a "Salted IPA". It's nowhere near an actual Gose, but it is still an enjoyable beer.
