After trying many of the wonderful pilsners around Oregon (pfriem, crux, breakside, buoy, zoiglhaus, rosenstadt, little beast, pelican, etc...) this one really stands out as delicious. Fred's has been jacking up the prices on beer (maybe passthrough costs from the brewers finally?) and this was on sale a dollar cheaper than the others I usually purchase. Maybe it was my pallette that day, but it just smacked me with smooth flavor. Maybe it's more like a kolsch? Not sure, but it didn't have some of the bite of others. Either way, this will be my new go-to for the foreseeable future, I tell ya.

12 oz single can from Fred Meyer in S. Salem.
couple of bucks.
5.1% 30 ibus.
Canned 10/04/21.
Pours the typical golden pilsner body ( clear of course), large thick and frothy off white head.
Traditional pils aromas..noble hops, hay and biscuit malts.
Some what more malty in the taste. Quite sweet..hoppy finish.
Mouth feel is pretty thick for style and not snappy. But its easy to drink.
I find this more of a Dortmunder in taste.

12oz can
Pours a finger of dense white head into my Pilsner glass, a little fizzy. The retention however is wonderful due to this nucleating glass. Initial lacing looks questionable. Body is golden yellow, crystal clear, with an absurd amount of bubbles coming up from the nucleation. Looks very nice so far.
Nose is bready, grassy hops, a little sweet. Hops become more assertive as this opens up, and this smells quite nice.
Flavor is pretty hop forward, which is not a problem at all. Grassy, a little bit of spice. Malts come across lighter and more sourdough/cracker like, but there are some deeper bready notes as well. Pretty nice.
Carbonation is medium-high. Body is medium-light. A slight sweetness, a tad more than would be expected in a Pilsner, but definitely still dry overall. Bitterness is on the higher side for the style, but not anything crazy. Nice mouthfeel.
Drinkability is solid, this is light and tasty.
Appearance turned out quite nice, lacing was pretty good.
Overall a very nice Pilsner. A touch of sweetness, and a little added bitterness.

12oz can (date unreadable) poured into 14oz teku. poured a very cloudy yellow-gold color with an inch of white head that had moderate retention and light lacing.
The aroma was the basic grainy malt and floral hops of the style, but was very muted, and slightly muddy.
Same on the tongue; nothing missing, or really "wrong", but not really anything that stands out either.
The body was typical, smooth and clean, but was a bit fuller than average.
Drinkability was OK, no issues.
Overall, a slightly less than average example of the style. probably worth a shot to make up your own mind.

Making the rounds of PNW Pilsners since I can't find anymore German shifazzle in this viral apocalyptic wasteland.
Migration has made a fine, fine pilsner: insane, frothy head that clings to the glass as it descends towards golden goodness. Very smooth, with a vainglorious twinge of bitter at the end of the swallow. Outstanding stuff, would drink again whatever the virus.
