12oz can
An extremely clean pour yields merely a half finger of white head into my can-style glass. Retention is average I guess, and the head fades within a minute or two. Initial lacing looks solid. Body is a somewhat cloudy orange, with minimal bubbles coming up. Looks ok so far
I get a fair amount of Amarillo here. A good amount of tropical/sweet fruit up front, with an earth/dank undertone. Smells very clean, crisp, and inviting - nice.
Flavor certainly doesn’t deliver on all of those aromatic notes. Faint dankness, faint fruit. I mean it drinks like a pale, everything is going to be dumbed down compared to an IPA, but that nose really got my excited.
Carbonation is on the higher side. Body is pretty light, but the carbonation adds to the weight a little bit. Bitterness is moderate, it has a small bite to it. Smallest touch of sweetness. Solid mouthfeel for a pale.
Drinkability is fine, this goes down easy.
Appearance turned out half decent, lacing was there but just barely.
Overall fine, idk maybe I just don’t like pale’s anymore. They’re basically less shitty session IPA’s, before those were a thing, and I don’t like sessions IPA’s.
