12oz can
Pours a finger of white head into my can-style glass. Retention is average, and the head fades in a minute or so. Initial lacing looks quite nice. Body is a cloudy orange.
Nose is incredibly juicy, and somewhat sweet. Loaded with mandarin oranges, citrus rind, papaya. It seems very wet. Not really my kind of hop profile, but it smells good, aromatic.
Flavor is even more complex, and really burst out at you. Lots of oranges, spicy hops, lime, citrus rind. This is wild, like a tornado of hops and flavors. I can’t say I love this, but it’s very flavorful, and incredibly unique.
Carbonation is very high, and that plays well with the hop bite and citrus. Crisp, but the body has some weight to it. Bitterness is moderate. Some sweet fruit notes, but not all that sweet overall. Really nice, vibrant mouthfeel.
Drinkability is very nice, this is effervescent and full of flavor.
Appearance turned out decent. Lacing was patchy, but present.
Overall a great blend of new hops that bring some interesting flavors.
