I had this beer on-tap in a tall pilsner glass at the brewery in Portland.
Appearance: pale golden hue with the lightest touch of haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop.
Smell: nice malt aroma that has a good crackery and toasty character. I like it.
Taste: crackery malt with a moderate hop bite. There's a little sweetness, which works, but there's a certain roughness to the bitterness that's not my favorite.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: a pretty solid helles but the bitterness is out of balance or something.
