I had this beer on-tap in a tulip at the brewery.
Appearance: light orange with just a tiny dash of haze and a finger of frothy tan foam.
Smell: a little farmhouse, a little Belgium and a lot of sweetness. The weird ingredients (soured carrots!) don't come through much in the aroma, but it's decent.
Taste: kind of reminiscent of a strong golden ale, with just a touch of saison character. Sweetness and alcohol heat are both quite high, though.
Mouthfeel: medium-rich body with a big carbonation and a very nice creaminess.
Overall: good flavor, but it's just a bit too hot to be really drinkable.
