22 oz bottle

An aggressive pour yields a quarter inch head. Fizzes away very quickly. Body is dark pink in color, hues of red and purple. Visibility is low, but it’s not cloudy. Carbonation looks very low. Overall a boring looking beer, but sours usually aren’t the most gorgeous looking beers, so I’ll cut it a little slack.

Brewed with marionberries, pink peppercorn, brett, and lactobacillus. Sour on the nose. You really get the brett. Perhaps a little sour marionberry in there as well. Smell is very simple, but good. I don't know exactly how to rate this because I don't drink sours every day. It's good, but I can't tell if it's great. What am I looks for in a sour aroma? It smells sour, funky, yet still clean enough to drink. Anyways, good smell, 3.5 I guess.

Brett hits first, finishing with a smallll, but noticeable marionberry, then lingering sourness and brett. I sampled this beer about a month ago and remember it being too sour. This bottle however is perfect. I suppose that's what I'm looking for. Really a refreshing beer. Not too sour, but sour enough that I can taste and enjoy it. Not really getting any peppercorn, but that's fine. 4.5 might be a little high, but this is a tasty beer.

The mouthfeel is very spot on for the beer. It has a discrete, but lively carbonation, it's definitely there. The body is so plentiful with little bubbles everywhere that it makes me ignore the probable lack of thickness in the beer. Like I said, for the beer, this is spot on.

The drinkability is damn high for a sour. It's still sour, but it's refreshing and drinkable.

Overall this is a very nice beer, not what I would call flashy, other than a little marionberry and brett, but brett is trendy I guess. Very simple in a lot of ways, but really nice. Not much else to say, good beer.

For lacing, there was none.

From the Bomber into a standard pint results is a neon pinkish red body capped by a bubbly pink head that disappears almost instantly.
Aroma is slight funk and berry jam with a slight wheat beer astringency
Taste is medium sour up front, lots of marion berry and a ever so slight wet hay funk, slight sour aftertaste lingers, nothing unpleasant but not Earth shaking either.
This would be a good introduction beer for someone just getting into wild/sour beers and the price point is a definite plus (5 ducats for the bottle).
I'd drink it again, in fact, I probably will

Look is ok with cloudy red berry color. Head dissipates quickly to virtually nothing. Smell is only that of marionberries and slight tart funk. Taste is much better, with strong berry flavor a and good balancing tart acidity. Good sour for the price(4.99). Definitely worth it.

Pours a murky orange-red with a foamy reddish-tan head that fades to nothing. Tiny dots of lace drip into the remaining beer on the drink down. Smell is of grain, berry, earth, and slight chlorine aromas. Taste is much the same with berry, earth, subtle pink peppercorn, and slight chlorine flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and dry mouthfeel. Overall, this is an average beer that has fairly decent berry qualities, but the pink peppercorn is very subtle and the slight chlorine presence diminishes the drinkability for me.

Serving type: bottle.

On tap at Roscoe's Portland. Wild ale... I'm seriously not impressed. I got the 1st pour from a new keg so maybe that's it but very thin and watery, zero carb, minimal aroma of any kind... tastes like watered down fruit punch.
