7% ABV, 75IBU's - West coast style IPA brewed with Centennial, Chinook, Cascade, Ahtanum & Amarillo hops.
Tap at Peppercorns.
Pours a nice creamy thick 1 finger head that doesn't seem to want to fade, bit of lacing eventually, Somewhat hazy orange nectar colored with a nice rosy hue.
Nose is very fruity like fruity punch, a mild citrus grapefruit like, papaya, nice tangerine citrus, little candied orange peel, hint of resin, mild spicy earthy hop too, touch of fruity bubblegum, under that is a fairly strong malty aroma with mild roast reddish malts and candy, hint of booze.
Taste starts quite fruity again, lots of genetic fruit, little tangerine citrus, guava, papaya, juicy fruit and mild fruity bubblegum again, little spicy hop too with fair bitterness. Touch of melon as it warms. Malts are fairly strong as well with touch if alcohol bite, little sweet candy malts that get slightly syrupy, toasty red, little fluffy. Finish is a bit sweet and sticky but fairly dry, more spicy hop characters with mild fruity notes lingering, bit of sweet malt and booze.
Mouth is med to a bit heavier bod, nice carb, hint of warming booze.
Overall not bad, interesting fruity hop profile that is good but I thought it would be a bit better with the hop lineup. Nice malty backbone, big beer that's pretty tasty. I really like the malt profile and bitterness but hops just didn't bring as much as I expected.
