Tap at peppercorns
Light fizzy head fades slowly, slight hazy honey orange color. 4
Nose nice grassy floral hops that quickly get taken over by fruity hops, fair tropical note, little resinous and faint pine. 4.25
Taste brings more hops, mainly spicy hops, little pine and resin, with faint grassy floral notes and mild fruity like hops that are mostly overpowered by the spicy hops. Pine and resin continue, with a mild malt base. Finish is really interesting, a spicy chewy hop lingering with touch of pine and resin, but then an interesting fruity like starburst flavor on the back end, and touch of fruity bubblegum, quite bitter. 4
Mouth is med bod, decent carb, crisp feel. 4.25
Overall not bad, nice overall hop profile with little malts, hops get a bit overpowering due t to the lack of malts and the big spicy profile which is to bad cause there are some nice fruity hops hidden in there.4

Pours quite cloudy but it has a solid amber color (darker than most pale ales). Smallish head that settles quickly but it leaves superb ring lace with several spots in between.
Piney hop aroma which is "over" the pale malt bed. A bit of grapefruit rind as well.
A classic American pale ale with lots of high bittering hops and little softness to the mouthfeel. The body is appropriate even if the carbonation is a bit high. Black pepper finish but the mildly toasted malt makes a reappearance in the aftertaste. Easy to drink if you lean to the hop.
