Firkin at the brewery.

Murky bright orange tan blond color, no real head, usual appearance.

Nose brings the typical raw wort, fresh malt mashing, with toasted malts, into a nice citrus, typical orange peel and juicy citrus, but grapefruit really comes through, grapefruit peel straight up, not even close to grapefruit juice more like rind.

Taste brings a ton of grapefruit peel right away, bitter rind, juicy grapefruit with mild peppery note, so much grapefruit peel. Mild citrus underneath, a bit of orange and juicy citrus juice, with fair bitterness. Malts are light, a touch of toasted grain and raw wort mashing in again, malt juice. Turns to a touch of tart grapefruit juice. Finish lingers with tons of grapefruit peel again, bitter rind, little citrus, nice fresh hop character too like a grapefruit grassy hop, quite bitter too, fairly dry, tart grapefruit juice.

Mouth is med bod, light carb but not too light.

Overall pretty nice, so much grapefruit peel that it kinda overpowers the base beer unfortunately, but still pretty nice and enjoyable, although the bitter rind starts to get on top of my tastebuds and it's hard to finish the pint.
